2017 Capital Classic Pond Hockey Tournament

9330 Groat Road Edmonton, Alberta T6G-2A8 Saturday, February 18, 2017, 9pm – 1am [image: 2017 Capital Classic Pond Hockey Tournament] In partnership with Edmonton Economic Development and the Silver Skate Festival, 40 teams (5 players per team) will be facing off to raise the Capital Classic Cup, and proceeds for two great local children's charities: Uncles & Aunts at Large and Adaptabilities. With over 25,000 attendees and spectators expected on the Saturday, register a team and come down to enjoy a day on the ice with friends, heated beer garden, fire pits, live entertainment, and food from our on-site vendors. Plenty of entertainment for the whole family! FAQs Is there ID or minimum age requirements to enter the event? All players must be 18+ to participate in the pond hockey tournament. The beer gardens is open to all ages, but you must be of legal age to purchase liquor. What are my transportation/parking options for the event? We recommend that anyone attending the event gets dropped off, car pool, arrange an Uber/Taxi/Lyft, or use the Silver Skate Festivals transportation services that have been set up, you can find more information here: www.silverskatefestival.org… How can I contact the organizer with any questions? Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event? Yes, please bring your formal ticket to the event with ID Is my registration fee or ticket transferrable? Yes, however, each player will be required to fill out a form upon entry, there are no substitutions after the first game. What should I bring? Helmets must be worn. This is an outdoor event requireing the appropriate warm clothing. Please dress for the weather. Can I bring my family? Yes! The Capital Classic is an open to the public event, and the Silverskate festival offers numerous other family events to make it the ultimate winter day.
