Songbird takes place at 7:30 p.m. Saturday, April 22 at St Andrew's United Church (9915 148 Street). The program celebrates the virtuosity and energy of adult treble choir Chandra Tala and adult mixed choir Vacilando. The program covers a vast range of musical genres, from indie pop, to folk, to sacred. "Our country has so many wonderful women composers and arrangers," says Vacilando conductor Kathleen Luyk. "In putting together a concert like this, the real challenge is narrowing down our list." Admission is $25 (Students $20, Children $15).
