Aeris Osborne is an emerging Hong Kong - Canadian visual artist, in residence at Mc Luhan House Artist Studio, Edmonton. It is her desire to use the bold impressionist style of painting to transform Edmonton's historic old houses were built within 1900s to 1930s into an art form. 11 Architecture Styles In 7 Mature Neighborhoods after doing some research about Edmonton heritage history, she learned YEG old houses were built with various architecture styles, i.e. Classical Revival, Tudor Revival, Georgian/Jacobethan Revival, Revival French Provincial, Spanish Colonial, Arts & Crafts, Victorian. Each painting will be named by the neighborhood name and architecture style, with a short description and house photograph displayed during the exhibition. It will allow the public to connect the painting between community, art, and heritage. In this exhibition, it will also display other Aeris's paintings as well.
