The Bearclaw Gallery 10403 124 Street Edmonton, AB Ongoing through Thursday, December 5, 2013, 5pm Author Bridget Ryan and illustrator Jason Carter are thrilled to present a very special double-launch of the children's book Who Is Boo 2 and a special gallery art show, 'The Trickster Series', featuring works by Jason Carter. Edmonton's favourite trickster rabbit returns with Who Is Boo 2: The Continuing Adventures of One Trickster Rabbit, launching on November 30, 1–4pm. Music, wine and juice boxes will flow for an afternoon, set in the whimsy world of Boo. The creative team will be on-site for an informal meet-and-greet and select readings from the new book. The day also kicks off a special gallery art show, 'The Trickster Series', featuring works by Jason Carter, one of Alberta's most prolific visual artists. Take a literal step into the world of this trickster character with brand-new stone and canvas works inspired by the Boo books. Included in this series are 10 new rabbit sculptures in various forms of soapstone, wonderstone, chlorite and alabaster, as well as 20 new paintings depicting the scenery and friends of Boo. 'The Trickster Series' is on display for a limited time, November 30 – December 5, 2013.
