Our hope is to remind them that there are people who care and want to help. We remind them of the holiday warmth -the warmth of a hot, homemade dinner and the friendship from a volunteer's smile. There are several ways you can help make this holiday season special for someone. Celebrate 12 Days of Christmas Your company or business can sponsor one of our special holiday meals from December 14 to 25. Your financial support of $1,000 will go towards the cost of making the meals. Christmas Elves in the Kitchen Come in and make the meals that make a difference. Come on your own or put together a team to help our Red Seal cooks prepare homemade meals in our kitchen during the morning Monday through Friday throughout the holiday season. Christmas Elves Gift Drive Collect Christmas gifts for our clients to brighten their day. We are collecting new, unused blankets, toiletries, candies and goodies, socks, and Meals on Wheels gifts cards or grocery store gift cards. Our Christmas Elves can drop off a collection box at your office and arrange for pick up once it's filled. Donate to Edmonton Meals on Wheels Instead of a Christmas gift exchange, why not start a donation drive, pass a collection jar around the office or collect donations at your next office party.
