Toy Camera Photography

MacEwan University Centre for the Arts & Communications 10045 156 Street Edmonton, AB Monday, November 12, 2012, 6 – 8pm Exploit both the spontaneity of shooting with a toy camera and the surprise of the unexpected. This course includes a hands-on shooting project exploring the various characteristics of the toy camera and the principles of good photographic composition. Shooting experiences, class projects, and the artistic potential of the toy camera are discussed. The basics of digitalizing and manipulating film images in photo software are also introduced. 135 mm or 120 mm toy camera (Holga, Diana or Lomo) required. Accessories such as flash and filters are optional. Participants are responsible for purchasing film.
