The 2011 Edmonton African Dance Festival will honour individuals who have exceptionally distinguished themselves in the field of leadership, government/public sector, business/private sector and not-for-profit organizations. In particular, awards will focus on leaders who have been or are still working tirelessly for the cause of genuine community/nation building and good governance. The event is expected to be attended by High Commissioners and Leaders of various African Countries and Communities.
